CBSE Class 9, 10, 11 and 12 Sample, School Prelim, Board Question Papers
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is one of the most prestigious and preferred educational boards in India. CBSE syllabus is well structured and comprehensive. It helps students to develop conceptually. CBSE follows the course curriculum of NCERT. There are around 20,299 schools in India and 220 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to CBSE Board and follow the NCERT curriculum. All Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are also affiliated to CBSE Board. CBSE affiliated schools conduct their own exams from class 1-9 and Class 11 whereas Class 10 and Class 12 is conducted by the board. Class 10 and 12 exams are conducted by CBSE in the month of March/April and the result is announced by mid/end May.
Promotion criteria for CBSE Class 10 Exam is that a student must obtain 33% marks in all individual subjects.
Promotion criteria for CBSE Class 12 students is 33% in theory and practical exams (if applicable) separately for all subjects and overall 33% in individual subjects.
Compartment exams are held in July for students who fail in two subjects in Class 10 and one subject in Class 12 exam. If a student has failed in more than two subjects in Class 10 then he has to give the complete exam next year. If the student has failed in more than one subject in Class 12 then he has to give the complete exam next year.

In CBSE Class 10 a student has CBSE prescribes various textbook mostly published by NCERT. If a student studies these books thoroughly and understand them then he can score good in CBSE Class 10 exams. Students are also advised to study previous year CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Question Papers.
