CBSE Class 11 Business Studies Sample and School Prelim Question Papers
CBSE Business Studies course is introduced by CBSE Board in Class 11. This is introduced after Class 10 hence a proper study of the course is necessary from the perspective of advanced studies or employment including self-employment.
The course acquaints the students on the history of trade and commerce in India. Its banking systems, transport, trading communities, imports, Exports etc
The course apprises students on different business organisations, their merits and limitations. It covers sole proprietorship, partnership firms, HUF business, co-operative societies. It also covers companies, their merits and limitations, type of companies, factors that help on which organisation to form.
Business organisation are undergoing dramatic changes because of internet hence the course covers E-commerce to give a flavour to the students. India is becoming a major outsourcing destination. The course helps students understand the concept of outsourcing, its scope, need and the difference between BPO and KPO. The course also emphasises the impact of society on business organisations and vice versa. The course highlights the impact of social, legal, political and economic factors on a business organisation. The course help students appreciate the role of Business organisation towards society, environmental protection and business ethics The course acquaints students on various bank accounts, various services provided by banks, insurance services and telecom services.

CBSE Class 11 Business Studies course is divided into two parts – Foundations of Business & Finance and Trade. First part has 6 units and second part has 4 units. CBSE Class 11 Business studies has question from both parts. Each part has questions equal to 40 marks each. Remaining 20 marks are for project work
