National Aptitude Test 2021: First ever aptitude test for Indian students
National Testing Agency has announced the first ever aptitude test for students of India who are between the age group of 13-25 years. It is also being called an ability profiler exam. The aim of the exam is to understand the current skills of an individual and then guide him towards the right institution and acquire required knowledge and skills. Skills such as Technical, Creativity, Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Analytical Thinking, Growth Mind-set, Decision Making, Inter-personnel Communication, Adaptability have been identified as skills for future.
The registration process began on October 11 and the last date to apply is October 18. The test will be conducted on October 23 and 24 depending on the age group of the students. The exam is free of charge and is in line with the New Education Policy 2020 and will help students make right career choices. Student will be divided into four levels basis their age. Level 1 is 13-15 years, Level 2 is 16-18 years, Level 3 is 19-21 years and Level 4 is 22-25 years. The exam for level 1 and 2 will be conducted on October 23 and Level 3 and 4 on October 24. The duration of exam would be 120 minutes and would be internet based test. NTA is the same agency which conducts national engineering and medical entrance exams.
